ROSIE'S DREAM by Nancy Gall-Clayton

21 Feb 2010 1:27 PM | Nancy Gall-Clayton
The Women of the Stockyards features readings of 7 plays about women who worked in the Chicago Stockyards on 4 dates. On March 5, 6, and 26, at 7 pm, readings will be at Cafe Ballou, 939 N. Western, Chicago, Illinois, and on March 28 at 7, at Royal George Gallery in Chicago. A donation of $5 is suggested.

Considered the 8th Wonder of the World in the late 19th century, the Chicago Stockyards is a place where anything can happen – so, of course, in Nancy's play, Rosie wants to defy her mother’s plans for her and join in the excitement.
