My Commedia dell'Arte Company are staging two productions at the Ashley Wood Festival near Salisbury UK, next Sunday. In the afternoon we are staging 'Sally May' a family show and in the evening 'Samuel Vice' an outrageous bawdy comic play, performed by stock characters with gigantic bosoms and large phalluses extracting themselves from ludicrous situations. Anyone interested in Commedia please feel free to contact me. Thanks Martine

June 28-30 at Stray Dog Theatre, St. Louis, at 8:00 p.m.   Gary Bell directs.

Lying comatose in her hospital bed, Charlotte perceives much more than anyone guesses.  She's aware of her children's true feelings, of messages that her late husband sends her, and of the care she receives from her nurse (or is that her angel?)  As secrets are revealed, how can she prevent her children from making some of the same mistakes she did?

Free with talk back session after each performance.

    7 pm, Monday, June 4
    SF Playhouse, Stage 2
    533 Sutter Street, San Francisco
    Hosted by the Dramatists Guild

Yes, that's deserts as in what is deserved, not desserts as in what you should eat first because life is uncertain ... but life is indeed uncertain, even for The Furies, immortal beings dedicated to revenge.  They uphold the moral principle of a slit throat for a slit throat until empathy intervenes and the basis for their entire existence is thrown into question.
