Victoria Z. Daly’s plays have received or been selected for productions in the U.S., England, Scotland, France and Australia.

Recent productions/awards: CIRCLING THE GLOBE, a 10-minute comedy, is a winner of 0 to 60: the Longwood University 10-Minute Play Competition and will receive a production at the University, in Farmville, Virginia, in April. A radio version of the play will be broadcast live on Spokane Radio Theatre, KYRS-FM, in March. CIRCLING THE GLOBE also received a staged reading at the Actors Studio 10-Minute Play Festival in New York City in September.

URN, a one-minute play, will receive a production at the Fast and Furious Festival in Spokane in January-February.

ROCKAWAY PARK, an interactive play, was presented at the ATHE Conference in Orlando, Florida in August.

A full-length dark comedy, DOPPELGANGER, will be workshopped at the Actors Studio Playwrights and Directors Workshop, New York City in 2014. DOPPELGANGER was also recently named a finalist at Raven Theatre's 2013 New Play Workshop in Chicago (one of 10 finalists out of 250 submissions.)

In July, Vicki's play FAR NORTH was nominated for a 2013 Perry Award for Best Production of an Original Play by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters. The play was produced as part of Old Library Theatre's "4 x 4" in Fair Lawn, NJ in February. In May FAR NORTH was also named finalist at Stageworks/Hudson's 2013 Play-by-Play Festival in Hudson, New York. The play opened the Warner International Playwrights Festival in Connecticut (one of 11 plays selected out of 272 submissions) and also received a run at the Gallery Players Black Box New Play Festival in Brooklyn.

Vicki is the founder and producer of The 9th Floor, a collaborative of writers and actors in New York City, now in its sixth season.

As a television producer, script consultant, and executive, she has worked for entertainment and media organizations including Lifetime Cable Television, Warner Brothers, and the American Broadcasting Companies. Her journalism has been published in national magazines including Glamour, Health, and Portfolio.

Vicki has taught playwriting (specializing in drama bootcamps) in New York City and Connecticut for such organizations as Sondheim's Young Playwrights, Inc., Litchfield Performing Arts, and her own The Write Stuff! programs.

Other honors include her selection as Guest Artist at the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive. She is a graduate of Harvard University, (A.B., Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa; M.B.A.) and of L’Ecole Jacques Lecoq, Paris, where she studied physical theater.
