National Endowment for the Humanities
The Scholarly Editions and Translations grants program provides support for the preparation of editions and translations of pre-existing texts and documents that are currently inaccessible or available in inadequate editions, including the editions and translations of significant literary, philosophical, and historical materials, as well as other types of work, such as musical notation. Projects for editions or translations of texts that respond to NEH’s Bridging Cultures initiative are encouraged. The application deadline is December 8, 2011:
